Over the next year, Roku predicts that 100% of the streaming audience will see ads. For growth marketers in 2026, CTV will remain an important “safe space” as AI creates widespread disruption in the search and social channels. Plus, easier access to self-serve CTV ad buying tools and targeting options will lead to a surge in locally-targeted streaming campaigns.

In just one year, the business AI tool market exploded from 55% to 78% adoption. Apparently, if you have not been paying attention, you are already last.
AI tools are transforming email writing, data analytics, and customer service assistance. In the year 2025, work is going to function in a completely different manner. You will need to consider these new intelligent tools and the fact that they are going to change everything.
The Shift from Tools to Teammates
Chatbots are basic and no one is really impressed with simple bots any longer. Agentic AI is the buzzword of the year. These are sophisticated bots that think, plan, and execute on their own. You do not use these tools, they work in tandem with you. They are digital co workers.
Gartner's report indicates that by 2028, 33 percent of enterprise software will include agentic AI, up from zero in 2023. That is an astonishing transformation that is happening right now and not hundreds of years from now.
It is not only large companies diving into this. Eighty nine percent of small companies have begun utilizing AI technology for basic functions every day, suggesting this technology is beneficial for all company sizes. Anything ring a bell?
What Makes 2025 Different
Currently, there are three hundred seventy eight million AI tool users worldwide. This represents an increase of sixty four million users in the past year alone, which is a staggering number. These figures illustrate that AI has, in fact, become mainstream, and it happened faster than anyone predicted.
How These New AI Waves Actually Work
Today's AI agents, unlike 2023 chatbots, employ a Think Act Observe cycle. They review your programming patterns and, based on learned behavior, take a series of actions that are optimized over time to remove micromanagement friction from the control cycle.
Consider the scenario where you are a customer operator. Advanced artificial intelligence does not merely answer questions. It forwards complex matters to the right person, manages automatic follow up appointments, and over time, learns which answer is best. You set the expectations, the AI works on the methodology.
What is best about this? You do not need a computer science qualification to do it. Small language models run effectively on smartphones and laptops, and are easily accessible on the internet. You do not need anything special to access enterprise level AI, they are available at very low costs.
Tools such as the Phi and Orca models from Microsoft can, for specific tasks, match or even surpass the performance of much larger AIs while using significantly less computing power. That translates to faster results and, ultimately, cheaper operations for you.
Real World Example That Proves It Works
A Shopify based retailer of outdoor gear implemented operations with an AI powered product recommendation engine in early 2025. It aimed to solve persistent issues like cart abandonment and increase average order value with less aggressive sales strategies.
The AI retrieved records of what clients purchased before, what they browsed, and even captured their behaviors across the website, checking which items they viewed at certain times of the year to recommend the right products.
In the first quarter of the new year, the retailer saw a 15 percent increase in average cart size and a 12 percent increase in customer retention. The money spent on the AI recommendation engine was greatly outweighed by the profits brought in during just 45 days after implementation.
Why did this work? The AI did not rely on guessing. It analyzed real customer data, adapted, and made real time recommendations.
The lesson here is that even small companies do not need to be technical wizards to achieve a positive return on investment from AI. The marketing manager of the retailer reported that during the week, manual product curation saved them eight to ten hours, which they spent on strategy and creativity instead.
Why Multimodal AI Changes Everything
The newest AI systems can process text, images, audio, and even video at the same time, opening up endless use cases.
ChatGPT 5, for instance, can now analyze photos of your fridge and suggest possible meals to prepare with the available ingredients. Financial analysts can upload documents containing charts and receive insights across multiple data formats instantly.
It is no longer about showing off flashy demos. Customizable AI developments are already used across healthcare, legal, and financial services, handling more than fifty percent of routine conversations automatically while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
Dedicated vertical AI agents are now being developed for healthcare, finance, and logistics. These agents master the intricacies of specific industries, achieving better performance and reducing critical mistakes where precision matters most.
Where This All Leads
A recent report showed that AI tool usage in the workplace by tech employees has skyrocketed to ninety percent from a mere fourteen percent a year ago. This exponential rise proves that adoption is not slowing down, it is accelerating.
So the real question is not, “Do you think AI is going to change your industry?”
It is more like, “Are you going to be at the forefront of that change, or the one chasing at the back?”
So, are you ready? Let AI tackle the boring stuff.
